Access to the new online social activities program provides opportunities for students to talk, learn, and bond with like-minded peers over topics they love all summer long. Grades 2-12, residential and commuter (CA, MD, PA, and RI) Yunasa supports the whole gifted child, encouraging growth and support of campers intellectually, socially, emotionally, spiritually, and physically. Courses provide compelling content and appropriate challenges taught at a flexible pace with small classes by highly qualified, dedicated professionals.ĭesigned and led by eminent experts in the field of gifted youth, Yunasa embraces gifted children for who they are, helping them understand and work with the unique joys and challenges that gifted children face. Many traditional programs for gifted youth focus solely on intellectual abilities, overlooking the need for these children to grow in all aspects of their lives. IEA Academy provides students with advanced enrichment classes that promote exploration and application of knowledge. Students earn college credit and gain professional experience with industry experts. Grades 10-12, residential (Wellesley College, Boston, MA) S tudents pursue their strengths, discover new interests, and make friends who expand their horizons and embrace what makes them individuals. Grades 8-10, residential (Sarah Lawrence College, Bronxville, New York) Grades 4-7, residential (Regis College, Weston, MA)įrom fast-paced outdoor activities and athletics to courses that challenge students to innovate and create, explorers are exposed to a wide range of subjects and opportunities to enjoy together. This continuity allows for in-depth exploration of subject material, active inquiry and discussion, and hands-on participation by students. Each course is held for approximately two hours a day over the six days of camp. Participants are introduced to a wide range of academic and special interest courses designed to develop a well-rounded individual. Students choose three mini-courses from a variety of offerings. This one week day camp will focus on a journey designed to develop analytical, critical, and creative thought by grappling with a variety of problem solving activities which include mind benders, lateral thinking, and developing projects based on futuristic problem solving.
